We encourage clients to do some self examination into their EQ skills. That involves thinking through skills such as: do I show empathy? Do I pick up and respond appropriately to social cues from others? Am I focused and engaged while someone is speaking? Good listeners make the best negotiators! When you learn what makes people tick, you can learn how to gain their support. Most of all, your intentions and behavior must be authentic, others can sense an imposter a mile away. These skills can be honed to improve your career path and that path leads to success.
